The Habitat Seoul Solid Wood Step Stool gives you safe, steady access to those high kitchen cupboards and top shelves that are always just out of reach. It's made from solid pine, that's natural hardwood that's sturdy enough to support up to 100kg safely. The natural wood finish fits nicely with most kitchen or bedroom styles. It's compact enough to tuck away when you're not using it, but practical enough to keep out as an extra side table or plant stand.
The wooden design keeps it stable while you're reaching up, with a wide base that spreads your weight evenly. At just under 50cm tall, it gives you the boost you need without being awkward to step onto. The natural pine grain gives each stool its own character. Strong step stool
I purchased this step stool to help me reaching into high cupboards and top shelves. It fitted together easily and I applied some rub in polish to finish it off. It looks great and make a comfortable extra stool as well. Its stable and strong, I’m very pleased with my purchase

Solid wood stool
I bought this 3 weeks ago. I regret this purchase. Large and takes up a lot of space. The top step is too wide and I hurt my shin when I first used the stool stepping up. Flat pack so I think may have to keep this. Not sure of the return policy for this type of item. It does the job.

Solid and looks nice in kitchen diner
I had been considering this purchase for a while as I really like the style and finally bought it. I'm not disappointed. Instructions are easy for assembly and it feels quite sturdy - details include that it holds a good weight. Helps me reach items on high shelves in the kitchen diner and is tucked under the kitchen island unit. Added note - when ordering the page had jumped back to the option to 'Collect' at Argos and not Home delivery which was what I intended. But the order went through for Collection. I called Customer Service contact and they quickly deleted the order and reordered for Delivery, and refunded first purchase (takes about a week for refund) - all done efficiently. Received the next day.

Hard to assemble
This stool looks great and should be simple to put together but the instructions are not clear for example on which way round the pieces go together. The screws for the top step did not go in fully and the top step is not fixed but moves. It doesn't fall apart - or hasnt done yet but each time we lift it up I am concerned that the top will come off.

Does the job
Feels pretty solid compared with other ones and I like that its chunky style makes you feel more secure going up and down. Only downside is it’s not great aesthetically and takes up a lot of space

If its varnished just lightly sand it then paint it. Oh no but your guarantee will be defunct goodness sake like that matter for such an inexpensive piece.
