About this product
Leyland Walls and Ceilings Matt Emulsion is a low odour, water based paint for interior walls and ceilings. The contemporary matt finish is ideal for helping disguise uneven surfaces and can be used on new plaster. Under normal conditions, a second coat can be applied after 2-4 hours. Leyland Walls & Ceilings Matt Emulsion will cover up to 13 square metres per litre depending on the nature and porosity of the surface. Strong or contrasting colours may require additional coats.

I like this paint may used again
I’m no painting expert, but I’m genuinely really impressed with this paint! I was looking for something budget-friendly to use in our upstairs passage, and this did a fantastic job for the price. As long as you prep the surface properly before applying, you should get great results. I did need to apply about three coats to get the best coverage, but the finish came out really nice. One tip I’d suggest is to avoid going back over areas you’ve just painted—let it dry for an hour or two first and then apply the next coat. I also noticed that after the first coat, the freshly painted areas can look a bit darker than sections you’ve already done. At first it made me think I’d missed spots, but once everything dried and the next coats went on, it all evened out nicely. I’m not sure if all paints behave like this, but it’s something to keep in mind while painting. Overall, for the price, this paint is absolutely worth it. There was more than enough to cover a medium-sized room, and it would probably handle larger rooms like a living room as well. I’d definitely consider using it again when we get around to painting downstairs. Happy painting if you decide to give this one a try!

The paint is actually really good for the price too. You do have to add a good couple of coats though but surprisingly this covered some walls that had marker pen underneath and covered it really well without any lining paper which we didn't expect. It actually did a really good job and made the walls look lovely completely covering this.

No, it is not suitable for use on sheds & Summerhouse. It is not designed to withstand the moisture, temperature changes, or wood movement found in a shed, which can cause peeling.

Our supplier has advised that the Leyland Wall & Ceiling Matt Paint - Brilliant White - 10L can be applied to bare plaster.
'However, we advise sticking to one product and not using secondary products as mist coats. Its unnecessary and brings a level of uncertainty to the overall dry film thickness of the coating.
We advise following thinning instructions which are included on the rear of the tin.'

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Leyland Wall & Ceiling Matt Paint 10L - White: Any paint can be mist coated , it would depend what you want a mist coat for .
If dried new plaster yes this paint can be mist coated.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Leyland Wall & Ceiling Matt Paint 10L - White: As with most projects most work would require a minimum 2 coat application, however if there’s a wide colour change additional coats may be required, as in this case green to white may simply require extra layers to fully hide the darker existing.
As for adding water this can be undertaken also for absorbent and porous surfaces the thinning amount is generally detailed on the instructions as all paints will require differing amounts.

For exterior walls, you would need a masonry paint.
