About this product
The Samsung HW-S50B brings AI-optimised sound to your TV setup in a single, elegant soundbar that fits neatly under most screens without cluttering your living room. It's compact and lightweight, connecting wirelessly to your TV and phone via Bluetooth so you can switch between watching films and streaming music without cables. The 3-channel system uses virtual DTS X to create 3D surround sound that wraps around you, and the dedicated centre speaker keeps dialogue clear whether you're watching late at night in Night Mode or want voices to punch through in Voice Enhancement Mode.
With 140W power and Dolby and DTS technology, there's enough depth and volume for action scenes and quiet moments. If you have a compatible Samsung TV, Q-Symphony lets the TV speakers and soundbar work together for a more immersive soundstage without complicated setup. You can expand the system by adding a wireless subwoofer or rear speakers (sold separately). It connects via HDMI or optical, with wall-mount brackets included if you prefer to fix it above or below your screen. The box includes remote, power adaptor, batteries, wall-mount kit, and a 1-year manufacturer's guarantee.

not much better than the TV speakers
I bought this a few weeks ago and was very dissapointed with it. Its supposed to be 140 watts output yet we can hold a normal conversation whilst it is on full volume. The bass is practically non existent.I took it back to Argos to ask for a refund and purchase a different one. Because I had opened it the manager would not let me do this, so I amstuck with it. How are you going to find out what it is like if you dont open it and plug it in. I have bought many things from Argos over the years and always been happy but I will never step foot in the place again

Brilliant budget soundbar
I bought this to replace the soundbar and subwoofer I was using. My old setup worked great but like many people I struggled with hearing dialogue in dramas, films, etc. The Samsung sound bar promised clarity in this department, and it lived up to its promise. My tv is also Samsung so pairing through hdmi (arc) was no problem. For me the volume is more than adequate, and although I don’t have a subwoofer, I honestly don’t miss it. There are plenty of sound settings to play with so should satisfy most people.

Had to replace my old soundbar & didnt want the hassle of a separate woofer. This bar does the job, easy to set up through hdmi as i read there can be a lag with bluetooth or wifi. Good clear sound.

There in not an officially specified power cable length; however, they typically come with a standard cable of approximately 1.5 metres.
