Super simple to use

Great monitor!
I bought this as my previous monitor didn't pan around the room and cost the same price. I'm definitely getting way more for my money with this one and can use it for all my kids.

Very easy to set up as no wifi. Just plug and play. What I wanted for my aging mother. She can also use the simple directional camera in case Dad moves. Also works quite well in the dark so she can see him if he wakes in the night. Gives her reassurance. Does not have a zoom but that's fine.

We bought this so our parents have a means of keeping an eye on our baby when looking after her. Conected instantly with no need for wifi etc, the screen is clear and the sound is crisp so for the price it's a super product. Only limitation is that you can't move the camera via the screen module as you can with our own Vtech monitor.

"In general, the range of non-Wi-Fi enabled baby monitors inside the home is approximately 50 meters, only as with your home broadband and other devices, this can be restricted by dense walls, cavity walls with mess inside and a number of other factors.
All of the VTech baby monitors will indicate when the signal is weak or has no signal that you are aware of the status 24 hours per day."

The camera is not chargeable. Only the parent unit is rechargeable.
The camera requires to be plugged in continuously to be able to work.

“ It takes longer to charge the battery when the parent unit is turned on. To shorten the charging time, turn the parent unit off while charging. ”

The VM3263 2.8Inch Video Monitor does not need to be plugged in. The item has a rechargeable battery with up to 19 hours of video streaming or up to 29 hours of audio only streaming.
