About this product
The Lancaster Compact Sideboard gives you organised storage that keeps your living or dining room tidy and sorted. It's part of the Lancaster collection, with a contrasting oak effect top that works well with the cream finish. Two drawers with metal runners hold cutlery, serviettes and dining essentials within easy reach. A double door cupboard underneath provides space for larger items, serving dishes, and things you'd rather keep out of sight. The silver coloured handles add a subtle finishing touch.
The adjustable shelf inside the cupboard lets you change the layout to suit what you're storing. Its compact footprint fits neatly against walls without taking up too much floor space. The wood effect finish wipes clean after everyday use. Supplied with wall fixings for secure attachment, which is required for furniture over 60cm high. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people recommended for assembly. Backed by a 1 year manufacturer's guarantee.

Nice sideboard, assembly tricky, diagrams uncoear
Bought 2 of these, first took ages 5 and half hours to assemble due to poor diagrams and therefore having to disassemble several times which caused damage so needed to add brackets to reinforce joints and having to refit drawer runners several times. Simple fix won’t be larger diagrams and ‘f’ for front stickers on sections to avoid getting things back to front. Second one took 2 and half hours but still got in a pickle with some bits but realised quickly enough to avoid the need to disassemble and no damage. Like the units but frustrating assembly (I am usually good at assembling units). Would recommend if instruction, diagrams and labelling was better.

Great Value
Really pleased with this sideboard. I'm no use at flat pack but as the cost wasn't OTT I got someone to do it for me. It has a loveable shelf which is what I needed as my printer and other larger items fitted inside well. Easy glide drawers are good and work well. The colour is a mid grey maybe a bit darker than I expected but goes with other furniture just fine. The wood effect top gives a modern finish.

"We do not state the weight that the drawer can hold in kg’s but in litres – it’s 6.5 litres. The overall weight that we recommend for the sideboard is 25kg, this is spread over the shelving & drawers."

"We do not advise of a maximum weight for the internal shelf. We do however only recommend the overall sideboard load capacity to be no more than 25kg."
The shelf is 1.5cm thick.

Hello Charlie, our supplier has advised that the sideboard is "made from particleboard and foil with a wood effect finish." The wood effect is the veneer mentioned in the description.
