About this product
When stairs or open doorways become a worry, this hardware-mounted gate gives you proper peace of mind. The Dreambaby Arizona extends from 68 to 112cm without needing extra panels, so it fits a good range of openings around the house. It's grey, sits 68cm high, and opens both ways (inwards or outwards) depending on the space. The one-handed latch means you can open and lock it while carrying a wriggling toddler or armful of laundry. No base bar to trip over, either.
The screw-fit mounting makes it secure enough for the top of the stairs (the hardware drills into the wall or bannister for a solid fix). That 2-way swing is handy when you've got furniture or tight corners on either side of the opening. The one-handed latch clicks open and locks again with a simple press and lift, so you don't need both hands free to get through. The wide walk-through section gives you room to pass without squeezing, and there's no bar at the bottom to catch your toes. Designed for children up to 24 months old.

Ideal and easy to put up.
Bought actually to stop my new puppy getting out of front door, it also helps stop grandchildren, but pup more wriggly and fast! Its ideal. Attached to brick on outside of door so I can safely open door to delivery's etc and she cant get out. I have another at top of stairs to stop pup and grandchildren going downstairs too!

Great gate.
Our old gate finally gave up after 4 years of keeping our dog out of the kitchen. Our doorway is very wide so we needed another gate that would fit. Bought this gate because I was worried about tripping over one with a floor bar. Although you have to screw it in to the wall, it looks so much better and I know it's safe and won't budge! My little one loves to rattle the gate!

I liked idea of this gate, first one the screws didn't thread properly, replaced and 2nd one the screws were terrible, it did line up correctly making gate impossible to use.

You would need to take the mounting brackets into consideration, however, depending on the width of the wheelchair, there should still be enough space. it should be about 68cm (height), 112cm (length). It has no bar across the floor, it opens from the wall like a gate.
