About this product
This Hercules 6 x 5ft metal shed is ideal for general storage in your garden. The steel floor frame is useful where your base is unsuitable to use as the floor (flooring is not included). 2 sliding doors give easy access to the inside, wide enough when both open (80cm) to fit a bike or lawnmower through. With generous standing room inside (188cm max internal height), the shed is also well ventilated at the eaves. In classic cottage green with a subtle eggshell finish to blend perfectly into garden settings, it will look great for years.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. They should be built directly onto a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac, then anchored to it using the anchor fixings provided. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the shed's stability. This base is not supplied. An anchor kit is included.
Do not place directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. 2 people are required for assembly and we strongly recommend you use thick gloves when assembling the panels.
Once built, this YardMaster shed requires zero maintenance or further treatments. Its hot dipped galvanised steel construction makes it durable and weather resistant. This means you'll never have to paint it or worry about rot or rust. It comes with a 12-year UK manufacturer's anti-rust guarantee.

Flimsy, nightmare to put together
You need the patience of a saint and an extremely proficient person to put this together. I could right a book on the issues we had but I would certainly never buy another.

Avoid Yardmaster, terrible customer service
Don’t go by the pictures on Argos website, the door is not at the front of the shed as depicted. Ridiculous construction manual, luckily good at diy and had all the power tools needed to build it. Door is only 5 ft high, not listed in description.Different colour than picture depicts. I contacted Yardmaster directly by phone and sent supporting pictures in email as I maintained they sent the cheaper standard shed, and heard absolutely nothing back from them.Argos customer service just washed their hands of the problems too. Wish I had read the reviews from previous customers.Avoid this product and Yardmaster

Okay, but tricky to install
Got this to replace an old wooden shed, Managed to do it, however instructions were dire to follow, really confusing, with pre drilled holes sometimes in the wrong place, so had to drill to make it all work. Rain can get in depending on the direction and or combination of wind. Overall structure seems good, but don’t lock valuables as all it takes is unscrewing some of the outside screws to be able to get in! Overall it does the job, but the install experience could have been better.

Horrible to Build
Horrible to build. Screws are self tapping but fail to hold it together in places. Gaps everywhere. Not watertight. Took 2 days (full days) to build as the instructions are not too clear. Would not recommend buying

Nightmare to put up!
The shed is basically lots of small metal bits with hundreds of components this was a job that took my husband 2 days he is handy at DIY and works with metal but he was almost defeated at one stage! Not for the faint hearted or inexperienced! The shed seems solid except the doors that are very flimsy I can see someone just knocking them off the runners and no lock would stop a determined thief with this shed. I’m lucky our garden is secure but something to bare in mind if your want security!

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
