Does what it says on the tin
Bought this to replace an olde (cheaper) model and it Dow sweat it says it will do, it irons clothes. Not any better or worse than any other iron I’ve tried. Has a tendency to spit steam and water on your clothes every so often which isn’t helpful. It’s very light and holds a lot of water although the ridiculously small water jug they provide doesn’t anywhere near fill it up.

So I got this Tower never got this brand before so first time but the way it ment to work well I flooded my living room it would not stop taking the water out and was very noisy sorry had to give it back not sure if it was me or the Tower

Great value
Only negative is that you can accidentally press the buttons on the top whilst ironing turning off various functions. Wife was very happy to get this for Christmas.

Tower of disappointment.
I bought to replace a steam from different manufacturer. Tower is a well.kniwn brand but oh dear what a disappointment. Firstly the handbook says what to do but the iron doesn't work like that. Misleading instruction, one that the base has to be above the iron which makes life difficult, how do you do vertical steam ironing following that instruction. The instructions say press the button under the handle for steam, so I did but when released is kept producing steam. Not good. It used a tank of water in 15 mins, it seemed uncontrollable. So I returned it to Argos. That procedure was easy to do and my money was returned instantly. Well done to Argos for that.

Failed to work out of the box
My previous steam generator iron had failed after 11 years of faithful service, so I looked at Argos to buy another. This had a reputable brand name and seemed a reasonable price, but when I got it home, it did not generate any steam, and I was forced to return it.
