Compact and efficient coffee maker
Replaced a previous De'Longhi coffee maker with this updated model. It takes up very little workspace which is great but still produces a good cup of coffee. A little bit noisy as most coffee makers are and, like others people, it has taken a bit of trial and error to get the milk frother to produce a cappuccino style finish, tip don't overfill the jug, less works best. Final remark, there is a small piece of plastic with a small prong to clear out the frother spout, don't throw it away as I did! Pictorial instructions are not great but Argos do have written instructions for this model online which are more helpful. For the price I paid in Argos well worth buying.

Easy to use and makes great coffee
I brought this about a month ago after much deliberation and research. This machine is great and so simple to use. It's taken me practice to get a nice frothy milk like in the coffee shops but this machine delivers. I just need to practice getting a decorative top now.

Proper coffee
After a bit of research i bought this to replace our suddenly defunct old machine, all a De'Longhi. Wow, what a difference, this warms up almost instantly and the espresso is really good even using up our opened bag of Lavazza coffee. The milk frother takes some getting used to, but after watching a couple of videos online I got the hang of it after a few attempts. I'm now considering a coffee grinder to experiment with different roasts.

Drip Tray & Cup Grille – Yes, these can go in the dishwasher.
Filters (1-cup, 2-cup, and pod filter) – These are generally recommended to be washed by hand with warm water and mild detergent, not in the dishwasher.
Filter Holder (Portafilter) – Hand wash only; do not put in the dishwasher.
Steam Wand & Accessories – Clean manually with warm water and a cloth; not dishwasher safe.

This can now be used with Matcha powder, It Can be used with ground coffee or ESE pods. You may find there to be ESE Pods in a matcha flavour.

The customer will need to use the smaller filter with 1 scoop of coffee and press the button for 1 cup.''

The gap between the drip tray and the water spouts is 7cm, without the drip tray the gap is 12cm. Please note larger glasses/cups can be used but these would need to be tilted to get under the spouts
