Spear & Jackson Digging Fork.
I bought this fork to replace a broken fork. I paid more money hoping that it will last longer as it is made by Spear & Jackson. I’ve only used a few times and so far so good. Some reviews on here say about damage etc but I haven’t put under any real stress not that this fork is intended for heavy duty digging. Only time will tell but on the few occasions I’ve used it’s done the job required with ease. It’s also been quite comfortable and easy on the hand.

All the traditional virtues
A replacement for an identical one that lasted many years. Very traditional fork: heavy enough to break up clods but nicely balanced for control. Good polished wooden shaft for lifting and a comfortable wide wooden grip.

Excellent product, good quality, so easy to buy cheaper products that simply do not last.

Poor build quality.
Fork split along a grainline on first use, staff were great and offered refund/replacement without fuss. Such a shame as it looked great

Good quality
So far so good! Used this to dig up 2 difficult/deep shrubs. Easy to use and feels sturdy. Definitely feels like it a more expensive fork. Very happy.
