With the AirRAM K9 weighing just 3.3kg and the Multi K9 at just 1.5kg, the System K9 forms a lightweight combination. Tough mess? Don't stress. Both of Gtech's cordless vacuums feature powered rotating brush bars, designed to work deep down in carpets and between floorboards. The AirRAM K9 is specially designed to perform across a variety of surfaces. Using our patented AirLOC Technology, large debris is collected as you push forward, with fine dust and embedded pet hair lifted as you pull back.
Stronger : The K9 are strengthened by aluminium components to resist the wear and tear caused by even the toughest cleaning environments, time and time again.
Sweeter : The K9 model has 7 refillable floral scented tabs that fit into the filter, to leave rooms smelling clean and fresh eliminating pet odours.
More efficient : With the K9 system you get spare lifetime washable filters so you don't need to wait for your other filters to dry.

This is my 2nd K9 bundle. One for upstairs and one for down. We have a very hairy chocolate labrador who mounts continuously and the K9 does what it says on the tin. Recommended to my daughter who also purchased the bundle. Lightweight and easy to use. Perfect.

Very, very pleased with our Gtech purchase. Easy to use, great suction and makes cleaning so much easier. Only complaint is the box it came in had only two small pieces of tape to keep the lid closed. My package was open, fortunately everything was still there. Perhaps a more secure fixing would be a good idea.

Excellent combo and great deal. The upright is to replace a much earlier model which is still working perfectly and we have now taken to our static caravan to use there! Cannot recommend highly enough and Gtech is our preferred brand for floorcare.

Very pleased to renew my Gtech k9 upright and hand-held bundle but very disappointed that the handle extension button on the upright has been redesigned much lower down than on the older model. This used to be one of the good features adding to the ease of cleaning for back pain sufferers.

Overall a good product.
This is a lovely machine. Picks up everyday dirt & dust good suction. Easy to push & not too heavy. Enough power & run time to do a terraced three bedroom house in one charge. The hand held separate unit is perfect for the stairs or car. Only down side is the charging cable is too short. ( Minus one *) Overall a good product.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Gtech AirRAM K9 & Multi K9 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner Bundle: The batteries are not interchangeable as they are different shapes, however the chargers can be used on either machine.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Gtech AirRAM K9 & Multi K9 Cordless Upright Vacuum Cleaner: The AirRam K9 can be used with no scented cartridge, and be absolutely fine, however the Multi K9 will need to have part of the cartridge in place.
This is because if you were to remove the scented cartridge from the filter of the Multi K9, it would leave a hole in the filter, causing a reduction in the suction of the machine.
To use the Multi K9 without the scented cartridge, you could either cut the scented part off the cartridge, and plug the hole with the green top of the cartridge, or you could even purchase the standard Multi filter, and swap it out.

Hello Mel,
The supplier has advised the K9 version is designed for those with pets in their house. This means that certain elements in the K9 version are reinforced with aluminium to better deal with things like pet hairs etc. Meaning that the rotating brush bar will be need to cleaned less often than if the regular version were to be used in a pet owners household. They also come with scented tabs that be placed into the machine to keep everything smelling fresh and eliminate any possibility of "stale dog hair" smell. Lastly the machine would come with 2 filters rather than just the 1, so that when one is being washed, there will always be another ready to be placed into the machine.
These differences apply to both the upright and the handheld machines.
