About this product
The Aspire Sinatra Velvet Ottoman Bedframe gives you a comfortable place to sleep plus practical storage hidden beneath. It's upholstered in soft velvet with a deeply padded headboard, hand-finished in the UK for lasting quality. The ottoman base lifts from the end to reveal storage space underneath, protected by a fabric dust sheet. Solid hardwood feet keep it stable and lift the frame slightly off the floor. It's part of the Sinatra collection and comes in blush velvet, a warm tone that works with most bedroom styles.
The end-lift mechanism supports mattresses up to 60kg and opens smoothly, giving you hands-free access to the storage area below. Sprung wooden slats provide even support across the base. The frame holds up to 220kg total user weight, with reinforced materials throughout. Assembly takes two people and comes with clear instructions and all fixings needed. Covered by a manufacturer's one year guarantee. Mattress sold separately.

Comfortable, and looks great
We bought this six months ago and are pretty pleased with it. It’s comfortable to sleep on, looks fairly premium with the headboard finish, and was easy to put together. One thing to be wary of is the weight of your mattress, I don’t know exactly what ours weighs but it must be slightly more than the ottoman sets out in the details, because if we lift the ottoman it needs to be held up. If we don’t support it then quite often it will close down by itself - not what you would want if arranging items in the storage.

I can advise the following for the Aspire Sinatra Velvet Kingsize Ottoman Bedframe - Navy:
The height is exactly 30cm, you may find that the lift may sit against the suitcase and may not sit flush with the frame due to how close you are with the height.

Argos should stop quote distance from floor to underside of bed when the bed has no underside! If there is no solid base there is no underside. This misleading and borderline deceitful and only discoverable through QA
