The Doro 1380 is a 2G feature phone perfect for people who prefer making calls, sending texts and taking the occasional photos. Dialling numbers and typing texts on the large and widely spaced buttons is a breeze and viewing messages or photos on the large, clear display is easy and enjoyable. Comes with loud, clear sound for calls you can hear easily. The built-in assistance button provides users and relatives with extra peace of mind. There's an FM-radio for listening to your favourite show, and a built-in torch for lighting the way.
Doro 1380 is a dual-SIM device, making it a practical solution when you want to use two separate numbers in a single mobile phone.

This make and model of phone is great for anyone wanting a simple device. We were looking to put it to use quickly to help support an elderly relative. We were able to do this but were shocked and very disappointed to find that we'd been sold a second hand device... complete with entries in the phone book, call log, messages, etc .. and a little damage too.

I bought this phone for my mother when my father passed away as a simple phone for her to use. Unfortunately it is only 2G which no mobile phone company supports anymore. I had to return it and purchased a different phone.

I bought this phone it took me hours 4 phone to accept the SIM card when it finally did the phone would not charge up it keep saying phone to cold I took it back got my money back

You can use a 4G SIM card in the Doro 1380, because a 4G SIM is backwards‑compatible with older networks.
BUT the phone itself is only 2G, so it will only connect to a 2G signal, not 4G.
Whether it works depends on the network, your network needs to support 2G.

2G Network Status: All major UK network operators (EE, Virgin Media O2, Vodafone, and Three) have agreed to maintain their 2G networks until at least 2033. Individual operators may start partial shutdowns later, but general 2G service for calls and texts is expected to be available for several more years.
3G Network Status: The 3G network switch-off, which has a faster timeline (mostly completed by 2025), does not affect the Doro 1380 as it does not use 3G.
Carrier Compatibility: Note that the Doro 1380 is not compatible with the Three network, as Three has never had a 2G network. It will work with other UK providers and their virtual operators (like Tesco Mobile on O2, Asda Mobile on Vodafone, etc.).
