The Birlea Leonie Kingsize Rattan Bed Frame gives you a solid place to rest that brings together weathered oak and a rattan headboard in a quietly confident design. It's French-inspired, with clean lines that work well in traditional or contemporary bedrooms. The kingsize frame fits a UK standard mattress and provides plenty of space for two. Sprung wooden slats run across the base, offering firm, even support that helps a firmer mattress perform at its best. The rattan effect adds texture and warmth without fuss.
The frame sits 20cm off the floor, so you can hoover or retrieve things underneath without awkward bending. Solid slats distribute weight evenly and provide reliable support night after night. The headboard reaches 104cm high, giving you somewhere to lean back comfortably. It's designed for a maximum user weight of 220kg. Requires assembly, two people recommended. New Bed
We purchased a new bed to replace a beautiful antique brass bed - still loved but time to change after 50’years ! The new bed was easy to assemble and the instructions we very clear to follow - husband & wife team and not a single argument!

Classy looking bed
Comfy to sit up in bed with the ratan headboard, rather than the metal bars we had on the previous bed. Looks like a far more expensive bed than it cost. Well recommended

Terrible quality
Only unpacked the head board. The wood was varying in shades and the corner joins were poor. Returned for full refund which is still awaited. Arranging the return was also time consuming as the supplier has to sort not Argos. please check the supplier Birlea furniture reviews as these are mostly negative.

Beautiful bed frame
I had my eye on a rattan bed frame for sometime and saw this had 20% off in the Black Friday home event which was a saving of £140. The delivery took longer than estimated but that was no problem for us and the delivery couriers were one of the best I have dealt with offering a day and time of my choosing. The bed was extremely easy to assemble and took no time at all. I really like the fact that whilst it’s a log size, the length of the frame is only a few cms longer than the mattress so isn’t at all obtrusive in a room. We have been sleeping on it for 2 months now and it appears to be very well made and sturdy. It beautiful and I am delighted with my purchase.
