Young children can be strangled by blind cords, chains, tapes and loops. Keep all cords and chains out of reach and move beds, cots and furniture away from windows.
Never tie cords together or allow them to twist into loops.
Always install the supplied child safety device securely to a solid surface using suitable screws and fixings. Do not glue or stick the device in place. Position it out of children’s reach but accessible to adults.
If a chain breaks, small parts may be released and could present a choking hazard.
Installation should be carried out by someone competent in diy. Follow the instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
Safety devices reduce the risk of strangulation and entanglement but cannot eliminate it completely.
