Gooseberry 'Hinnonmaki Green' is a mid-season standard trained plant that produces heavy crops of medium to large green berries with a sweet, aromatic flavour and a hint of apricot. The naturally disease-resistant bushes thrive in UK conditions and reward gardeners with reliable harvests from June to October. Fruits are excellent eaten fresh or used for cooking, freezing and jam-making, where they keep their colour and shape. Trained on a clear stem, the plant forms a neat fruiting head that makes picking and pruning easy while adding year-round structure to the garden.
