About this product

Fragrant tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus) with a distinct aniseed flavour, ideal for seasoning fish, chicken, pork, vegetables and sauces. A hardy perennial that produces lush green foliage and clusters of white flowers in summer, it thrives in full sun and tolerates part shade - perfect for pots, window boxes, raised beds and borders. Easy to grow and low maintenance; plant in compost-rich, well-drained soil, keep the soil moist but not waterlogged and water at the base, and apply a balanced slow-release fertiliser or compost sparingly about once a month during the growing season. Provides year-round interest with upright stems and long smooth leaves and delivers high yields for regular culinary harvesting.
