About this product

Spiraea japonica 'Magic Carpet' from Marshalls Garden is a low-growing, fast-growing groundcover shrub with bright red new foliage that turns green, creating a multi-coloured display topped by flat clusters of deep pink flowers in summer (flowers May to August). Hardy and low-maintenance, it grows well in sun or light shade and prefers average, well-drained soils. Plant in a hole twice as deep and three times as wide as the rootball, water thoroughly and keep well watered and fed until established; trim in summer if needed. RHS-awarded and pollinator friendly, it provides long-lasting colour in borders and beds.
