On checking the manual I can see it would either be a case of removing one of the extensions or changing the angle to fit the gap.

The supplier has advised the following for the Cuggl XXL Wall Fix Room Divider Safety Gate:
“ When fitted to wall with wall brackets do they move slightly if the gates are moved. The position of wall brackets can’t be moved which has been screwed. But the gate can be removed from joints between gate and wall brackets. ”
