Genuinely life changing!
So far, incredibly impressed! I was quite sceptical about at home laser hair removal and the idea it would reduce hair growth but was at my wits end and thought it would be worth getting just to make sure I wasn't missing out. I started on areas that I already shave or pluck - upper legs, armpits, navel, neck and chin. I did a patch test on each area with no adverse effects on my skin. I did these areas every 2 days for 2 weeks and my chin and neck have stopped growing hair, my navel/middle belly has stopped growing most of the hair, my armpits (more difficult to do) have halved in hair growth, my upper legs are definitely growing slower but it's difficult to tell whether some hair has stopped completely. I was so confident after my chin hair stopped growing (usually pluckable within a day or two) that I took the plunge and shaved my face hair which as a person with dark think hair and olive skin tone has been an insecurity of mine for most of my life. Whenever I shave or pluck a hair it comes back darker and thicker so this was a big decision to do to my face. I'm so happy with the results and will continue to do 2 day sessions until I'm confident all hair growth has stopped. Things to bear in mind - check your skin tone and hair colour, some combinations won't work. It can be painful in spots (armpits are not fun) but I am using the highest setting and trying to get as close as I can (had absolutely no burns though). Glasses to protect your eyes are an absolute must, I'm surprised they aren't supplied with the IPL itself, it's incredibly bright and you will damage your eyes if you aren't careful! I was genuinely quite depressed about my constant embarrassing hair growth (not that you need to be - just my personal insecurity) and saw no way out and I now have alot if hope that I can put constant shaving, plucking and worrying that I missed one stray hair behind me!

Our supplier has advised that the Braun Silk Expert Pro 5 PL5347 Corded IPL Hair Removal can be used on your eyebrows, forehead, ears, nose, chin, upper lip, upper cheeks, jaw line, full face, chest, underarms, arms, shoulders, nipples, stomach, back, buttocks, legs, bikini line, hands or feet. The darker your hair, the more effective IPL will be.
