Excellent value iron
I have used MR irons for years - my last one had just given up so I didn't even look at any other brands. Great steam output, the longer cable is very good and I am pleased to see the water tank is much easier to view than the older models. Finally, I am hoping it is just as good and reliable as my last one.

Fab steam iron
Bought this a few weeks ago. Absolutely love my new iron. I hate ironing so for me have to have an iron that glides easily and gives out lots of steam. I was a bit sceptical reading other reviews about how heavy it was but was glad I went for it as my last iron was a lot heavier š

Good iron
This replaced a previous iron by Morphy Richards, which I had for about 7-8 years. I find this to be an improvement to the previous one. It's nit too heavy and so far it is performing very well.

Hi Annie, we would always recommend using deionised, demineralised, or distilled water. Thanks, Izabel
Hi, to reduce limescale damage we would always recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water. However, with softened water this is less of a risk. Thanks, Izabel
Hi, thank you for your question. This iron does have a built in self-clean system designed to keep the water valve, steam chamber and steam vents clear of lint and loose mineral deposits. I hope this helps. - Izabel
Hi there, Filtered water will be fine to use in a hard water area. Thanks, Izabel
