Both controllers main charging port at the top were broken and we were totally stuck until we bought these. Now we just have them charging all the time and PlayStation doesn’t need to be on! Another plus is there are no annoying wires everywhere. Much better and super happy!

The charger can be left plugged in but will always have power to it. The controllers can be left on the charging dock so are always fully charged but if you want to minimise the amount of power used, it would be best to unplug whenever possible.
