Looked good, until I used it.
I've only had this a matter of months and I am already looking for a replacement. In fact, the basic bare-bones uncomfortable seat that was originally supplied with the toilet was better than this. No matter what I did, it shifted and the bolts loosened and, worse of all, one has since broken. I simply cannot recommend this product to anyone and to look elsewhere.

I am very happy with this toilet seat so far. Easy enough to assemble and fits perfectly. Be careful when cleaning it as long term it may wear as it is only wood effect but great value.

Not in the slightest. So having fitted it to find this lie out, I then called to spend 10 minutes thinking I was answering inane questions and pressing the key pad so that id eventually speak to a human. But no, that seems too much for Argos and the phone went dead. Possibly the most inept and rudest customer service I have ever experienced. And maybe you might want to ask your staff answering other customers bringing up the same issue, that they shouldnt lie as we have the seat and the issue!
No!!!! it is NOT soft slow close. Please amend description as irritating to find it is not as described
Just got one in September 2023. It is NOT slow close. Argos need to change the description and their answer to this question. The packing comes with an instruction not to let it drop as it could break. As someone used to a slow close toilet seat it can be hard to remember not to let it drop since you expect it to close slowly on its own.
Definitely NOT soft close! I have just returned mine!

Our supplier says for this product, the standard is 15.5CM. This can be adjusted between 11.5CM-19.5CM. Unfortunately this will not be suitable for your needs
