Better Storage
Glad I bought it, was getting overrun with Discs, and running out of storage room on them, a Hard-Drive is a much better, and bigger, place for me to keep Films & Programmes.

Small, lightweight, good capacity for the price
I bought this to be able to take a backup of my (full) MacBook before taking for repair. Did the job, apart from having to format the drive to be compatible with Mac iOS first. It’s small & so easily portable, unlike my old brick sized one! Good price, but helped that I had £20 in nectar points I could use towards the cost. Overall I would recommend👍

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Seagate Expansion Plus 2TB Portable Hard Drive: ''Yes, the Seagate Expansion Plus 2TB Portable Hard Drive (model 271819) is compatible with the Mac Mini 2 (2023). However, please note that it will need to be formatted for full use with macOS. Keep in mind that formatting will permanently erase all existing data on the drive, including pictures, videos, music, and documents, and this data cannot be recovered without incurring costs.''

This is SMR and not server preferred CMR. You could still use it as a donor drive for a server but you will be limited to SMR processes.

This Seagate Expansion Plus 2TB Portable Hard Drive can be used with a device running OSX.
It will need to use a format supported by OSX, which accepts APFS, FAT and exFAT.
This device is formatted as exFAT by default.
