Panasonic breadmakers are good.
I bought this as a replacement for my old Panasonic that had been serving me well for many years. This breadmaker is wider than my old one and makes a bit more noise when kneeding but it bakes good loaves.

Worthwhile purchase
This breadmaking machine has proved very helpful. After making bread by hand for years, the process had become too demanding after back injuries. I can now use my previous 50/50 recipe to make a loaf completely by machine. Or I can use it on "dough" setting and use the dough to make bread rolls, baking them in my oven. It fits well on the kitchen work surface.

Brilliant breadmaker good results.
Brilliant bread. My sister recommend this breadmaker. She's had this quite a while and uses it three times a week. In the past I have had other breadmakers but I found that the results from this Panasonic breadmaker achieves better results. I made white bread and wholemeal and it comes out perfectly, light and well risen. I have made the fruit loaf as well. I haven't yet done the pizza dough or the 'only dough ' for making cobs but my sister has and she says it performs very well so this is my next goal

Faulty appliance
Unfortunately the appliance was faulty and after four attempts to make bread ( I have owned two Panasonic bread makers before) I have given up and taken it for a replacement.

The best bread maker
We had this make and model of bread maker before and when it broke we replaced it with the identical one as it had been so reliable. No need to take out insurance either, the last one performed well for 20 years!

The power supply for UK: 230 V - 240 V 50 Hz and the power consumption is between 505 W - 550 W.
if the Heating duration is around 1. 5 hours total, and we draw 0. 55 kW, and the electricity rate is £0. 23 per kilo.
Energy used = 0. 55 kW x 1. 5 hours = 0. 825 kWh
times £0. 23= £0. 19 to make one loaf of bread using this unit based on a rate of 23p per kWh. However, as I said, this calculation is not accurate as we don't have a specific heating duration time, and the cost from your Electricity supplier this may vary.
