Excellent Air Purifier
The product is very excellent. I have used it for my bedroom and I felt that the air was much cleaner. My room gets dusty sometimes and the product helps to give us a cleaner air. It also takes very little time to clean the air which makes it very efficient.

Simple and efficient
A great product that is simple to use and set up and does its job very well. There's manual selectable speed or auto and a timer. Plug in and leave it do its job. It does get a bit noisy at night so It has to be turned off in the bedroom

Avoid this product it emits Ozone
I cannot recommend this product. Its method of working emits ozone which will be unsuitable if you have a respiratory condition. It left me extremely ill for several days after use. I returned it within 2 days of use. AVOID!!

We read many of the reviews before deciding to purchase this braun air purify but don't remember any of them stating the need for it to be at least a metre from the wall for the best air flow as it says in the manual...for us to achieve that it would be stood in the middle of a room...the only safe place it could go without being knocked into is just 6" from the wall and it seems to work okay. Check your measurements as to where it will stand as it is quite tall. It's noisy when first put on but quietens after a while.

auto function absolutely fantastic.
purchases a couple of weeks ago and I have to say is absolutely fantastic, I've always had filtering units in my property because I suffer with asthma and copd , these units are absolutely brilliant, the auto function works brilliant , but active carbon filter is superb much better than any model i've had before , the main filter on the back is also washable , a lot of the units on the market don't have this feature in the long run will save you money . I liked it so much i purchased another one . it's quite a big unit for a definitely worth the money. Highly recommended .

Game changer!
We bought this air purifier about a month ago as my daughter is allergic and has suffered from a night time allergy cough. After literally 2 nights it stops and she can breath easily. Highly recommended for people with allergies. It has a sensor so automatically starts cleaning when detects pollens. It is quite noisy only when detects high level of pollens and it takes less that 10 mins to purify the air.

Clean air at Last.
Very happy with this product enables me to sleep better and not have a stuffy bedroom because unable to open windows due to car's around the back and pollution. The device is quiet when the air is clean in the room but medium when detected some pollutants. However very noisy when pollutants are heavy till the air is clean. Had a job with the filter that you change every 6 months but stock is now back on amazon. The permanent filter is washable so not a problem with that one.Very easy to use with simple instructions.

This unit doesn't use HEPA filter. It used a EOC and an Odour & VOC filter. Braun Healthcare Team

This is an air purifier and not a humidifier. It purifies the air only, it does not add moisture into the air as well.

The Braun Scan and Clean Air Purifier, is able to work out what setting it needs to be on and you would then pick how long it needs to be on for, then it would auto-self shut off after the set time frame you picked.

Indeed, the Braun Scan & Clean Air purifier have 2 filters. One which is the ECO filter , this is permanent and washable, doesn't need to be replace and the other one is the Odour & VOC filter, this is the one that need to be replace.
Depending on operating conditions, the ECO filter should be cleaned once every 3 months and the odour & VOC filter should be replaced every 6 months.

The Braun Scan & Clean Air purifier removes PM2.5 and up to 99.9% of particles as small as 0.3 microns from the air that passes through the filter. However, overall particle reduction depends on many factors including the amount of air processed, the particle type and the introduction rate into the environment. Additionally, we cannot guarantee that all the virus molecules causing Covid are big enough to be caught by the purifier.

I have spoken to our supplier regarding the Braun Scan and Clean Air Purifier, they have advised as follows:
"C(t)max 0.014ppm on high and 0.009ppm on low, the max allowed by the Electrostatic air cleaner standard is 0.050ppm – the device is well within allowed tolerances."
