Worked fine, but the cost...
It is what it is. Unfortunately, because it's Apple and because they don't believe in universal connections, you very often have to use their peripherals. It worked out of box, nice box by the way. Ridiculously overpriced by Apple as usual. There are one or two other 3 pin adaptors that will work, but you risk jeopardising any warranty if things go wrong.

Great iPad charger
Bought a new iPad, rather disappointed it didn’t come with a charger and the charger point has a different connection to my iPhones. Therefore purchased this Apple charger which has the new connection. I like the fact that the plug pins fold flat for storage or travelling. It charges quite quickly too.

I bought this over 8 months ago and so glad I did not only does it have a high wattage ensuring u have a fast charging and ensures u have a efficent access to charging it also is portable as it flips down to fit your bag I find this is helpful for when I am in a rush to work as it folds small and is compatible with any usbc charging lead ensuring I can charge my devices at any time.
