I bought this recently to frame a large print and it’s a great frame.

Broken glass, everywhere
Bought two of these and both had broken glass. I suspect this is just too big a surface for actual glass. In practise the glass is also rather heavy. Clear acrylic would be a much better solution in my opinion. Took both back to Argos for a full refund without any problem.

Hard to hang, not robust
Very difficult to hang without adding to the hanging mechanism on the back. Managed to hang it but it ended up falling and smashing everywhere after a few months

Goods were damaged
When I opened each box the glass in the picture frames was broken. In future, I would open to check condition before leaving the store.

Simple, understated look.
Bought this frame a couple of weeks ago to frame a print I had. Easy to use and exactly the right size. The frame felt a little loose after I placed the print but I removed the glass and put a bubble wrap layer between the back of the frame and the print. This cushioned it and stabilised the frame. very pleased with the result.

I can also confirm that the response from the staff is incorrect. I received the frame, and even though the packaging says it contains glass, it is not glass.
It is perplex, although the answer given by Ivy, Argos Staff, states that it is glass.. it is not glass!
