Got quoted £77 for one light I needed from a local electrical supplier, then googled these £10 each in the sale massive bargain!, snapped them up, the only difference is an led light strip in the dear ones and a bulb socket in these,just use a led bulb, no brainer, well chuffed

I bought 2 for hall lights couldnd get the cool white bulbs had to take warm white not very bright but will change to cool white when I can get the correct bulbs. Would recommend well finished

The light unit gets a good score for easy installation once the wires are in place. My only minus is the brightness of the light. The maximum 5W allowed is too small. The unit went into the small toilet downstairs, and compared to the lighting in the rest of the house this one feels a bit dull. Others in the house feel it's ok though!!

Hello Maz,
I can advise the following for the Argos Home Flush light Fitting - Chrome:
Apologies, this is designed to be used on a ceiling only.
To remove the glass cover from your Flush light fitting in chrome, follow these steps:
Turn off the power: Ensure the light is switched off at the mains to avoid any electrical hazards.
Use a screwdriver to carefully remove the screws. Hold the glass cover with one hand to prevent it from falling.
The supplier has advised the Home Flush light Fitting - Chrome is IP rating 20 and NOT suitable for bathroom use, this is a ceiling light not just the lamp shade.
PLEASE NOTE:
All light fittings must be fitted in accordance with wiring regulations from the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and current building regulations.
You would require a qualified electrician for any electrical work and all manufacturer's fitting instructions must be followed.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Flush light Fitting - Chrome: The screws just need to screw in holding the glass shade in place.
All light fittings must be fitted in accordance with wiring regulations from the Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and current building regulations. We recommend you employ a qualified electrician and that manufacturer's fitting instructions are followed.
