Lovely kettle
I bought this to replace my previous kettle that had become faulty, and it’s been perfect. It boils quickly and isn’t nearly as loud as some reviews suggested. I almost didn’t buy it because of the noise complaints, but it simply sounds like a normal kettle boiling. I’m glad I went ahead with the purchase.

Not as good as my old kettle
I bought this to replace an old Cookworks kettle which had started to leak but the Morphy Richards kettle isn't as good. The flex doesn't fit properly when coiled in the power base so that the base is slightly unbalanced, I find it very difficult to see the water level when filling the kettle and it's noisy.

Nice looking kettle but noisy.
Kettle works well but, as previous reviewers have said, it is very noisy. There is only one window showing how much water is in the kettle and suits a right handed person better I think especially when filling it up from the sink.

Good update!
Bought as a replacement for existing kettle which was faulty. Pleased with colour & features such as lid opening button, power-on light & faster boiling time! A real improvement - & all at a good price!

ONE NOISY KETTLE.
This is a really nice kettle, good colour (cream) you can easily see the amount of water inside and a lovely shape. My only problem with it is the noise, it is much louder than the one I had to throw out.

We can confirm that the Equip kettle will stop heating and turn off once it has boiled. The kettle is cordless with a 360° base and is designed to automatically switch off after boiling for safety.
If the kettle is lifted off the base during boiling, the heating will stop and power will be cut while it is off the base. However, for safety reasons, we do not recommend removing the kettle from the base while it is boiling. It is always advised to allow the kettle to fully boil and switch off automatically before removing it from the base.
