About this product
The Habitat Lloyd Storage Cabin Bed keeps your child's bedroom organised without taking up extra floor space. It's a single cabin bed that fits everything you need into one smart footprint. There's a built-in headboard shelf for bedtime books and trinkets, a pull-out side drawer that's handy for smaller bits, and two deep underbed drawers that swallow up toys, spare bedding, and clothes. The grey finish with cut-out handles gives it a clean, modern look that works from age 6 right through to teenage years and beyond. It's safety-tested for adult use too, so it'll last as they grow.
The wood effect frame stands up to daily use and keeps things looking tidy. It must be securely attached to the wall to prevent tipping, that's really important for children's furniture. The maximum user weight is 100kg and it's designed for ages 4 and over. The underbed drawers provide plenty of hidden storage for keeping the room clutter-free. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, all fixings included. Covered by the manufacturer's one-year guarantee.

as beds go it's ok, drawers aren't as deep as expected but are a ok size, bed had slight damage but argos gave a part refund so i'm happy

Great bed but hard to build
Lovely looking bed, but noticed when building it( the holes didn’t match up to where the screws were supposed to go. Very confusing to build.

Looks great
The bed is great, it looks really good and has great storage. The only negative is that the wood has an unpleasant smell which is taking time to air away. Other than that really happy with the product and great price.

Okay but can buy better
Bought this for my son, bed arrived and headboard was damaged so had to wait 4 days for a replacement. When building the frame found the "wood" was really flimsy and not the greatest quality. When the new headboard finally arrived there are areas where small chips in the paint and the bit of the headboard that connects to the frame of the bed is so unstable, was a nightmare to attach since it's also heavy. Unsure how this will hold up with a hyperactive toddler but I'll likely not buy a new bed from argos again. Not the happiest since the bed wasn't exactly cheap but don't have the mental stability to take the thing apart and send it back.

Takes a long time to build. Good quality. Unfortunately the drawers don’t shut properly and catch on the frame.

A nice storage providing , space saving bed. The under bed and headboard storage is great, but the bedframe doesnt "feel" robust and is "creaky" Good for children upto young teen in my opinion

Sturdy bed
Bed itself is sturdy and looks nice. Headboard on the other hand... It has to be against the wall, otherwise it will bracke ( separate from the bed,broking the board). Shade is slightly different and some parts are not matching. Bought two of them. Took me to assemble one bed around 1.5-2 hours by myself.

Not worth the money in my opinion and the mattress is only kept from sliding off by 4 silly little pegs. Very disappointing

No it does not open at the top you have the draws only you can slide things on the opposite side as draws on go halfway across also.
