About this product
This wooden activity table gives children a place to explore shapes, colours and movement through hands-on play. They can guide the fox and tree through the mountain maze, stack the 3 shaped blocks, or experiment with the beads and bee blocks. The keys play 6 different tones, adding sound to the sensory experience. The design brings multiple activities together in one spot, so there's always something new to try.
The table assembles easily and stays sturdy during play. The ratchet block, stick and shaped pieces encourage fine motor skills as children twist, slide and stack. The activities support early learning through play that feels natural and engaging. Suitable for ages 18 months and over. One-year guarantee.

Bright, sturdy wooden activity table loved by toddlers for encouraging standing, fine motor skills, and learning shapes and colors. Great value and quality, though some note stability issues and minor assembly challenges.

Light, but good features
Bought for my 10 months old, she started getting up, thought it will be stable to pick herself up, didn't read the description with the weight measurements. My bad. However, currently playing with it with legs off. More like, I'm playing and she's taking shapes off and chewing on the stick for that music instrument. Time will come and she's going to start stacking shapes herself. I think it's a good toy, but nothing will beat remote control, phone or random kitchen stuff :)

Hi Erinc50,
The Chad Valley Wooden Activity Table should come with 8 screws which are needed for the wire toys that hold the beads. The other table top toys should just clip in to place.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Legs screws on, you can totally unscrew it
Hi Kate,
The Chad Valley Wooden Activity Table is not designed to be disassembled and reassembled for storage.
Thank you for using Q&A.
ABSOLUTELY NOT.
The table is very light, I think its less than 4kg, it tips over, my baby is around 8 kg the table immediately started to fall. You need to supervise. I bought it too for her to practice her new standing up skill, did not think about lightness of the thing...however we will play with it regardless.
Hi Kate
No we don't feel the Chad Valley Wooden Activity Table would be strong enough to enable a baby to pull themselves up to standing.
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Argos Q & A.
I bought it for my 10month old. Suitable WITH SUPERVISION as its very light and tips over for babies who is just starting to get up
Hi Steven,
The recommended age for use of the Chad Valley Wooden Activity Table is 18 months and over but it would be up to your discretion.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A.
Yes definitely my granddaughter is 14 months old and ideal for young babies, really good for getting the co-ordination and playing with different shapes, because it all fits on the table there is no risk to swallowing any of the parts, which at this age everything goes in the mouth.
