Good product,works well.The only issue I've had is the blue tab came off when the front was removed for cleaning,it reassembled ok and have had no issues since.

I bought this a month ago and just got around to cleaning the carpet, it was not a good start as the clean water tank had a leak (manufacture issue) Contacted Vax who were only to happy replace (visual check) tank and throw in replacement stain remover. This is my 3rd Vax and this is the best so far, less trips to empty dirty water tank, an exceptionally clean carpet, dries quickly no more damp carpets!!

Stains are gone
I bought this a few weeks ago but let my son clean the carpets in his new home. It did a great job. When he moved out I noticed he’d left a coffee stain on the beige bedroom carpet. Don’t know how long it had been there?? The Vax removed it and is a great machine.

I purchased this Vax a month ago to clean my little one’s bedroom carpet. Assembly was straightforward, although I initially encountered some difficulty getting it started. With the support of the step-by-step video guidance, I was able to get it up and running smoothly. Performance-wise, it cleans very effectively and delivers on results. The only drawback is that it’s a little on the noisy side; otherwise, it meets expectations well.

3rd Generation Cleaner
Purchased in November, this is my 3rd Vax carpet washer I've owned over many years. Started with the round tub version, then upright version for over 5 years. Tried this out on my bedroom carpet, it’s 3 years old with very little wear. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to use and operate. 15-20 minutes for a 4.5m x 4.0 carpet. Also the waste water was quite surprising as it was just household dust.

Fab machine love the changes made since i bought my old one much esier to take apart to clean i really hated that about the old one but this one was so easy to clean glad the trigger has gone to release the solution as sometimes i used to get trigger finger and used to have more solution released than i needed this is so much better

The weight of the Vax Platinum Smartwash Upright Carpet Cleaner, is 7.4kg. It will be hard to say if it is easy to lift up the stairs as this is down to the individual.

it does a decent job drying , all auto , forward wash /back to dry, and the shampoo is good also thats auto fed as well, but somehow i got musty smelling carpets , thats using vax shampoo as well , so was happy but not so now

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Vax Platinum Smartwash Upright Carpet Cleaner:
I can confirm the machine does not have any sort of a heating element to it. However, it will suck up a lot of the water to the point that it will only take a few hours to dry once completed, especially during the summer in warm weather.
