Alot lighter in colour , comfortable but smells
My son has had this bed for a couple of weeks now . He thinks its very comfy and supportive. Its alot lighter in colour than the photo suggests which was disappointing. It was quite tricky to align the bolts . I would suggest that when it comes to attaching the bed slats that you leave the top and bottom slats until after you have given the bolts a final tighten , as its very tricky to get your hands in and twist about . Finally it does have a very strong smell of fish coming from the headboard that even now after a few weeks it still smells , the pillow covers have had to be changed constantly as the smell is transfering onto them . Overall it is nice bed , but because of the difference in coloir and the smell im giving it 3 stars .

A lovely sturdy double bed
Got for mum and she loves it. She just had hip replacement and needed the bed to not be too low or high, this was ideal and she can get in and out without help. The base is sturdy, headboard is nice too.

Great bed
I bought this bed a couple of weeks ago and it is lovely!! It was so easy to put together and my only issue is that the wrong colour was delivered!! I was expecting a dark grey and got beige! I didn’t want the hassle of sending it back and in fact I don’t mind the beige now. Delivery was good other than coming an hour before the first delivery slot and only giving me 8 mins notice.

The height from the floor to the top of the side rail on the Habitat Elin Small Double Fabric Bed Frame is 32 cm. The clearance between the floor and the underside of the bed frame is 14 cm.
The distance from the side rail to the floor joists (slat base) is the difference between these two measurements:
Height to top of side rail: 32 cm
Clearance between floor and underside of bed: 14 cm
