3 meter wooden curtain pole.
I was well pleased with the quality of the 3 meter curtain pole both the pole and fittings where both good I used slightly longer screws and plugs. ordered on line and it was in my nearest Sainsbury store for collection same day.I would use Argos again and order on line.

The brackets on the Argos Home 3m Wooden Curtain Pole - Oak Effect, are attached to the wall by the double ended screw going into the back of the bracket and then once drilled and a wall plug being inserted into the hole, the brackets then screw into this until they are the correct way around to pop the pole onto.

The distance from the wall to the centre of the pole is approximately 8cm.
The bracket's full length is 11cm and the cup holding area is 2.7cm wide.

You would not be able to fix this to the ceiling with the brackets as the pole would not stay in place.
