Excellent product
We bought this to improve the air quality and reduce the dust in the house, which it does. Very easy to clean the dust filters, which pull out. Use it on a daily basis around the house. Is good at clearing the dust away when cleaning out the duel fuel stove. Have it on auto during the day and put it on night mode in the bedroom when going to bed, which is very quiet.

Easy set up and does the job
Bought over a week ago and i can instantly feel the difference with my allergies in my room. It's also be great at keeping it cool and creating an air flow whilst it been summer. Its also been a handy little side table to hold my tissues on. The noise is pretty much non exsistant for me on the lower settings but even on the highest setting it's not noticeable after awhile for me. The night mode is handy also as it turns off the lights. Auto mode been interesting to watch as watch the light change and fan increase when I'm cleaning my room.

This was purchased for the use in my 5 year olds room for the purpose of not wanting him to go on steroid inhaler for asthma as wanted to rule out most things before this putting him on this and I can say it’s been up and running continually for a full week so can and his caugh he had every night before was continuous with this Blueair dustmagnet it’s amazing he hasn’t had a cough as you can see our house was very dusty yes we do clean on a weekly daily/weekly basis and for that reason I was shocked the last image in the slide is of how the air is 99% of the time now unless it sensors something the images in bottom are of different rooms in our house including sons room that registard PM72 amazong pice of kit and very quiet

Excellent producy
Very happy with my DustMagnet! So easy to set up and connect to wifi. Love the remote control and the settings and modes. I have 3 cats, they produce a lot of dust. The difference is very noticeable. An added bonus, especially at the moment, is the air is cooled too. 👏🏻💖

Thanks for your query about the Blueair DustMagnet 5240I Air Purifier.
Having checked, this does use a fan, whose speed is adjustable, but it's not designed to function as a fan from the point of view of creating cool air. It's to draw air through it and collect the particles. If there is any slight feeling of cooling due to air movement, it's likely to be only near to it, a relatively minimal effect at best, and an accidental upshot rather than a built in feature.

Our supplier says the air purifiers have a job of capturing the dust before it settles. We would suggest that the dust from the computer console is wiped off and the Dust Magnet will definitely help to reduce any new dust build up.
The CADR, which stands for Clean Air Delivery Rate, filters 226m3 of air per hour on this particular model.

The air purifier comes with two pre-filters and two main filters installed. The filters purify the air from particles and gases. For best performance, clean the pre-filters regularly and change the main filters when the air purifier indicates filter change on the control panel. At the time of writing, the main filters are available from BlueAir's website and are £55 but prices are subject to change.
