About this product
This alarm clock wakes you gradually with a light that simulates sunrise, so you come round naturally rather than being jolted awake by a harsh beep. The Lumie Bodyclock Glow 150 uses mixed LEDs to create a gentle glow that builds over 20, 30 or 45 minutes, and you can adjust the intensity to suit your sleep space. It'll also wind you down at bedtime with a fading sunset effect, and there's a night light built in for when you need to potter about in the dark. The digital display dims automatically based on the light in your room, so it won't glare at you while you're trying to nod off.
The light and sound alarm gives you options for how you'd like to wake, and there's a snooze function if you need a few extra minutes under the duvet. Good for bedtime as well as mornings
I have found the "sunset" function at least as useful - I struggle to settle down to sleep and the gradually dimming light and noise (I like the 'crickets' setting for this; it feels like the long summer nights I love!) helps soothe me and establish a useful routine. I also like that the numbers on the clock only show up when I need them - the sensor is excellent.

Great lamp alarm clock
I’ve had this lamp for nearly a month and I love it!!!! It love that it has multiple brightness settings, and I love the sunset and sunrise/alarm features!

Good but too expensive
Great aid to help with early starts on dark mornings. Really bright light (but easily adjusted to your desired setting). I use the tropical birds setting when I want an alarm. However, for over £100 I would expect a radio too like you can get on cheaper alternatives. Quite light and flimsy in structure. I don't think the high price is justified.

Poor controls
There are enough problems with this thing that I am getting rid of it: 1)The display is about the size of a wrist watch, and can only be read from up close. 2)The buttons are very small, cheap feeling, and you can't navigate them by feel 3)When the light is illuminated for the sunrise, the clock stays lit indefinitely. There should be an option for it to turn off after a specified amount of time. 4)There is no single off button, you need to hold the dimmer button for about 10 seconds to turn it off which is annoying. 5)The snooze function where you tap the light to turn it off only works about 25% of the time 6)If you turn the light off, that seems to turn the alarm off, so you need to re-enable it every day which is annoying. Turning off the light should not turn off the next alarm, but it does.

Defective by design
Defective design. You have to set the alarm every morning. For a device that's purpose is to remind me to wake up, having to remember to remind it is a step too far. It would be better to be permanently on until switched off. Terrible design, that ruins an otherwise excellent product.

makes waking up easier
this does make waking up in the dark so much easier i wake up in a better mood, the sounds are great the sunrise and sunset options are great. i agree with some comments that it feels a bit cheaply made compared to some of their other products, and also i don’t think the interface is that straightforward it takes a few times to understand how it works.

The display automatically adjusts to match the light level in your room and turns OFF when the room is dark and you’re ready to sleep. You can change this setting if you prefer the display to stay on at LOW brightness when the room is dark. To check the time when the display is off you tap the top of the lamp cover and the display will change to low brightness for a few seconds.
