Really good scales, I've been using them for a couple of months now and they're very good and accurate. Need to be used on the ground floor on a hard surface (not carpet), but otherwise fine

Great product however disappointing that if you are over 50 you can't use athlete mode! I get it you are not in your prime, but there are lots of people over 50 who still keep in good shape, compete in masters divisions and are classed as athletes.

If you buy this item and want to use it on Carpet as advertised, you will need to buy this item, which including delivery will cost you an additional 11.74 from Salters Website -

These are not list as being compatible for this model, but Salters CS were very helpful and assure me that they fit.
Quite why Argos feel the need to mislead customers on this baffles me frankly?

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Salter Glass Body Analyser Bathroom Scales - Black: Yes. The reason for this is that new safety guidelines have been created that require a screw to secure the battery compartment closed.

No this is a LIE. it will not work on carpet unless you buy an additional item, a set of attachable feet which salter no longer list on their website for this model. Sadly Ive learned this the hard way.
