Good portable unit.
Got one not long ago for a friend and seemed to help them so decided to get myself one. Being portable there’s not as many settings but the ones it has are ok. Nice small unit with decent sized pads.

Compact design, good price, 5 different settings and 4 intensity levels. I've used it three times and seems comfortable and easy to use. Provides some temporary relief.

Tens out of Tens.
I have been having the usual joint pains a woman gets in menopause and thought I would research pain management other than the pill form. I came across this one online and thought at a reasonable price and with very good ratings I would give it a go. I have tried it for a few days and have to admit it’s better than I thought it would be. It’s very easy to use and is portable enough to take to work with me.

Seems good
Only bought tis a few days ago, quick and easy to set up and use. Light weight and at the moment it seems to be giving some relief from the sciatica pain.

Fabulous little machine
Bought this to deal with chronic back pain. It has worked well and has definitely helped. I do wish it had 4 pads though but 2 have worked. It is tiny so extremely portable which has been a bonus.

Simple and effective
Bought for an elderly relative with back pain. Simple to use, easy controls and effective so also bought a spare one. The pads are a good size with only 2 so not many wires. You can purchase replacement pads. Very portable so can be taken with you on trips. Told it is effective in reducing pain and being used daily.

Hey Hopalong,
I can advise that TENS machines can help manage the pain associated with plantar fascitis.
Thanks for using Q&A.

Thanks for using Q&A
Hello there,
OMRON Pocket TENS Machine
The Electrode Pads, including the ‘ePlus LongLife Pads’ do require periodic replacement. However, it is often possible to extend the life of the pads by simply rinsing them under a cold water faucet (no soap is required), shaking off the excess moisture, return the pads to the clear plastic cover sheet or the plastic holder (ePlus LongLife Pads only), and then place the pads in the refrigerator overnight (not the freezer). This should restore the adhesion of the pads. If it does not, the pads are worn and should be replaced. Contact your nearest OMRON retailer to obtain these.
Thank you for using Argos Q&A

Hello Rockitdumbo,
The supplier has advised the following for the OMRON Pocket TENS Machine:
“ The Tens pads are called ‘Long Life pads’, meaning they have a long life and can be reused over and over again, but it doesn`t mean they last a lifetime. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.

Hey! I am not answering on behalf of Argos, but from my personal experience, a TENS machine is an awesome way of fighting the cramps. It basically kinda numbs you, just put them on either side of your belly button a few inches down. Hope you have a good experience!
Hello Roxy,
The supplier has advised the following for the OMRON Pocket TENS Machine:
"Based on the information provided by our product team, our tens machines do not have specific validation for period pain. As a result, it is not mentioned in the instruction manual as an intended use. However, it is worth noting that the device can be used for lower back pain, which often coincides with period pain."
(We'd have to also add here that we cannot give direct medical advice and we'd advise that you check with a suitably qualified medical professional as to what sort of products would be suitable for use with period pain and whether they'd be happy that this device would help or not).
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
