Pocket TEN pain management machine
This is a great little TENS pain relief machine. Its so simple to set up takes 2 AA batteries which are included has a really helpful booklet that gives clear safety information user guide and shows where to place pads for the best results. Please do read through before use as there is important safety guidelines where pads should NOT be placed. The little pads send powerful pain relief that you can actually see working as the contraction under the skin twitch after use I definately felt improvement. The unit is clear to use there are less intense setting and massage options depending on the severty of the pain and you can increase the output. I have even tried the unit to help ease constipation as it can help get lazy bowels to become more active a great machine highly recommended

Best topical painkiller!
I was hesitant to use the machine as it might worsen the pain. I was scared of tiny currents running through me but I was wrong! This small device helps me when the pain on my hip is banging like drums. I’m so pleased that I got this item. It’s also portable which is another win.

Surprisingly effective
Have been very pleasantly surprised about how effective this little Tens Machine is. I’ve used bigger, clunkier versions in the past and this is genuinely as good, if not better due to how portable it is. Literallynfitsbjna. Hand bag, work bag or anything else when you’re out and about. Multiple settings, so can adjust as you need. I have a swollen Achilles and it’s been great for that and an alternative to taking painkillers.

Handy sized tens machine
Brilliant little tens machine, fits easily in a pocket (even small womens clothing pockets!). Ideal for taking with you on day trips / holidays etc as super small and lightweight. Tens machines really help me manage cramp pains, I love the different modes available on this one, my favourite one is mode 3, it seems to ease the pain the best. There are multiple strengths ranging from very very light to a good strong pulse. I really appreciate that this comes with lifetime pads, machines I've used in the past have to have pads replaced regularly which is frustrating. It comes with a holder for the pads too when not in use which is perfect. Definitely recommend this product!

Simple, compact and portable TENS machine
Having never used a TENS pain reliever, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I do suffer with occasional, moderate back pain and I’m very impressed with the pocket TENS machine from Omron. During use you feel a slight tingling sensation and at the highest setting you feel small muscle twitches. I’m not sure of the exact science behind these machines but it certainly helps with mild/moderate pain. The actual product is incredibly small and discrete, and could certainly be used for travel. Everything feels high quality and the included high quality AAA batteries are a bonus. It’s simple to use with 10 levels of power intensity, 5 pre-set programmes. All in all, I’m very impressed and surprised at how well it works for mild pain management.

Handy little machine
This is a great size and is very easy to set up and use. It comes with a handy book with diagrams to show you exactly where to put the pads for your specific type of pain. The pads are comfortable to wear and can be used 150 times so it should last a long time. Seemed to have some relief quite quickly and it’s quite powerful for such a small unit. It felt like a nice massage on my traps.

Works well
I have been using it a few weeks now for a back problem and it works really well, the pads are good if you are not being too active but feel like they are coming off if I’m busy, I have tried to get some single use pads for work but can’t find any as the clips are really tiny and don’t fit standard ones Apart from that I’m happy with the tens machine

Good little gadjet
I bought this after my 30 year old TENS machine gave up the ghost. I didn’t want a digital machine so bought this Omron machine. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and with the batteries supplied. It’s very simple to use and small enough to fit in your pocket. Different strengths and pulses for different parks of the body but I must admit I use it at its highest level for my back. It isn’t as strong as my old one but seems to be doing the job.

OMRON Pocket TENS Machine
The Electrode Pads, including the ‘ePlus LongLife Pads’ do require periodic replacement. However, it is often possible to extend the life of the pads by simply rinsing them under a cold water faucet (no soap is required), shaking off the excess moisture, return the pads to the clear plastic cover sheet or the plastic holder (ePlus LongLife Pads only), and then place the pads in the refrigerator overnight (not the freezer). This should restore the adhesion of the pads. If it does not, the pads are worn and should be replaced. Contact your nearest OMRON retailer to obtain these.

Hey! I am not answering on behalf of Argos, but from my personal experience, a TENS machine is an awesome way of fighting the cramps. It basically kinda numbs you, just put them on either side of your belly button a few inches down. Hope you have a good experience!

"Based on the information provided by our product team, our tens machines do not have specific validation for period pain. As a result, it is not mentioned in the instruction manual as an intended use. However, it is worth noting that the device can be used for lower back pain, which often coincides with period pain."
(We'd have to also add here that we cannot give direct medical advice and we'd advise that you check with a suitably qualified medical professional as to what sort of products would be suitable for use with period pain and whether they'd be happy that this device would help or not).
