I bought one of these about a year ago, but after taking down the Christmas trees I decided I wanted another one for my other small table as I really love them. The colours are gorgeous and although they are not suitable for reading by, I bought them purely for the ambiance.

Beautiful lamps
I bought two of these lamps and I am so pleased with them. They are absolutely beautiful and are ideal as a feature. They do not give out much light do would not be suitable for lighting a room or for reading. I would certainly buy them again.

This is a beautiful lamp, I didn't read the details when I ordered it, I just thought it was a lovely silver lamp, that would fit in my room. When I got the proper bulbs and turned it on, what a difference and a lovely surprise. The lamp shows an explosion of colours, and is just beautiful to watch. Definitely a lovely surprise. I would definitely buy again and have already recommended it to family members

Surprising!
I wasn’t sure at first but read the reviews and it seemed highly rated so went ahead and purchased and I’m really glad I did! It looks like a plain silver globe when off and when it’s on it looks a bit like one of those infinity mirrors. My son has ASD, it was bought as a bedside lamp and he loves it.

Beautiful lamp
I am so happy I got this lamp, it really is beautiful. Adds just enough light to the corner of my living room without me needing to put the brighter lights in the alcove on, plus it looks stunning. Nice addition for the winter months as it's quite warm in tone when on. Lightbulbs were out of stock at Argos but the assistant told me I would find them on the Sainsbury's shelves which I did so that saved me going elsewhere. Great service thank you

The Habitat Galaxy Table Lamp does not come with the bulb it requires 1 x candle E14 small edison screw LED bulb with maximum of 6 watts. For a colour changing bulb it would need to meet the same requirements.

It does depend on what brightness you would prefer. We do offer the 3.4 watt bulbs to complete your purchase however, if you are looking for a brighter look then the recommended maximum wattage is 6 watts.

The supplier has advised the following on the Galaxy Table Lamp:
“ The cost to run the lamp will depend on the price of electricity and the bulb used. However, if a 6W LED is used (the maximum wattage bulb suitable for this lamp) then that would mean the lamp would use approximately 0.36kWh of power in 60 minutes. Taking an average cost in the UK of 28p per kWh in 2022 (according to figures from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) that equates to approximately 10p per hour. ”

As the Habitat Galaxy Table Lamp requires a 1 x candle E14 small edison screw LED bulb it will generate much less heat than a standard non LED bulb which should not produce an overheat risk.
