Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have previously had a Shark hoover and have always said it is the best hoover that I have ever had therefore I had no hesitation in getting another. However this just isn’t as powerful as my last one. I could never hoover the Lino with my last one as it sucked the Lino up. With my new hoover I can hoover everything because it’s just not as powerful. My last one used to leave lines in the carpet where I had cleaned but this one doesn’t. On the plus side it does pick everything up.

Wow I have been without a plug in vacuum for a few weeks and have been managing with a cordless. I was gobsmacked at the amount of debris this Vacuum picked up on its first use. Very impressed

Great but one of the attachments does not fit
I brought this on Friday the only fault I have so far is that you can not attach one of the attachments into its station. The fit is all wrong It needs looking into by the manufacturers

Good vacuum, poor instruction manual
The instruction manual has incorrect instructions for the lift away feature (the feature that made me buy this model). If, like me, you get frustrated that the “lift away” button in the instruction manual does not exist on your vacuum, I managed to work out that you need to press the padlock button on top of the lift away compartment, then the “wand release” button. Apart from the 10 minutes of frustration spent trying to make this work, being told to use a button that doesn’t exist, the vacuum is good.

Happy I made the best choice. - Great Product
After lots of research, I decided to get this fantastic vacuum cleaner - and it really has come up trumps! It picks up thoroughly: it folds down flat enough to get under chairs and units, manoeuvres well, emptying dust is simple and its easy to convert for handheld use. Really ticks all the boxes! Can’t recommend enough!

Genuine review after 2.6 years of use
We bought our vacuum January 2024 after seeing it was advertised as being specifically good for pet hair. It was one of the corded lift-away ones. We have a rottweiler who heavily moults twice a year, so needed a vacuum specifically targeted for pet hair - after seeing some of the reviews and the company advertisement, we thought it might be able to do the job. After under a year, the suction started to fail. I'd emptied it, cleaned the filter etc but it didnt come back to what it once was. Accepting this, we continued using it as normal and hoped it wouldnt get worse. A few months later, the button for the carpet/hard floor mode broke, and the vacuum was permanently stuck on carpet mode. Annoying, but it wasn't an emergency. The next thing was that the dust bin of the vacuum has two sections to it. One is like a filter section and it has an opening into the main dust bin section. The suction had affected it, making it so that the dirt no longer sucked into the main section. This made it so when we vacuumed half of our 2 bed flat, the vacuum would fill up very quickly and block, making you have to empty it constantly. Couldn't imagine this in a larger property. The newest thing is that the power has now started to die. Was vacuuming today and the lights were powering down and it kept sounding like it was powering off without doing it. When I unplugged it, I found that the plug was very hot, so now im worried about a fire hazard. Overall, dont trust that its for 'pets' if you have a large dog that moults heavily. It can't handle it, and its life will be very, very short. Also it has nowhere for your tools, so you loose them constantly.

love it !! It’s a bit smaller width wise than my other one but I needed one to stay upstairs so it’s perfect. My only issue is one of the tools is too big to fit at the back where it’s supposed to live but other than that it’s working brilliantly, I’d recommend this model definitely

Shark pet hoover
This is the first shark hoover I have bought and I must say I haven't been disappointed the suction is excellent the product was easy to assemble and was delivered very promptly and was kept well informed the only downside is when you use the carry away for stairs etc I find that the cylinder falls over very easily so you do have to keep hold of it at all times overall 9/10 and yes I would consider buying more shark products .
