Very easy to read. As I have poor vision it took me a while to spot the case covering the battery box and as it is plain black it disappeared on my black worktop. A hint of colour would make it easier to spot. However I am very pleased with its performance.

The temperature range is - 45 to 200C. So yes, you can use it for yogurt making, around 35C.

"The extra-long 180 mm probe is perfect for using to check temperatures when making jam, confectionary, BBQ, meat temperatures and more." As no reference is made to Yoghurt, we'd have to advise that it's not suitable.
