It's quick and easy, simply melt and pour chocolate into the moulds.

Fun product, bought for child's bday - some of the features don't work very well i.e. the stamping of the pattern on the coins, and it takes an AGE for the chocolate to melt! That said the children loved it!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: You get 4 foil sheets with the Golden Coin Maker and replacement foils can be purchased via the John Adams website.

Thanks for your query about the John Adams Golden Coin Maker.
Having checked, though that type of chocolate can be melted via various means, it does require either the addition of extra ingredients or the use of various stove-top devices and a lot of heat. As this product melts just by heating the chocolate with hot water, it's not likely to be able to melt that chocolate.
