The gaming bed is loved by kids for its design, storage, and space-saving features. However, many users report stability issues and creaking noises, requiring reinforcements for safety and sturdiness.

Gaming bed for 11 year old grandson.
The gaming bed is excellent except that it could be a bit more ridid/stable once it is built. Grandson loves it. He slleps very well & up to now no signs pf any problems with safety. Also, one of the boxes was damaged which is the second time this has happened to an order from Argos.

Child loves it and that’s what matters!
I bought this bed approx a month ago but have just set it up. It took two of us all day to build. The Instructions were really clear to start with and then got worse throughout the booklet. There's only a tiny mention about the ladder supports (for strength.) I am concerned about the single side panel (away from the ladder) being too weak to withstand movement so will add a strengthening batten to that side. The bed moves (rocks) quite a lot when my child is moving on it. I would be concerned if you were to place a TV on the shelf and would instead, advise that it is placed on a wall. We are not using it for that purpose and have added additional cube storage to the shelf. Having said all this, my child absolutely loves it and couldn’t wait to try it out.

Badly made bed
My son wanted a high sleeper not a waterbed. This bed is wonky and creaky. We are going to anchor it to the wall at the recommendation of others who have had the same problem.

Great space saving bed
I bought this for my son as he is gaming mad. He loves the beds features, storage options and teen style. The bed however has a lot of movement in it when built. Every time my son moves it moves and makes a noise. He is a very slim 11 year old. We will have to reinforce this ourselves which is disappointing for the money.

Great fornpre teen gamer bedrooms
Bought in January, delivered February just about in time for a surprise birthday present. There were a couple of dents and scrapes to the bed which weren't apparent until it was built ( looks like one of the boxes was knocked or dropped in transit) but overall really pleased with the quality. Note it took a good 6 to 8 hours to build and you need plenty of clear floor space.

Top Panel (Shelf)

Due to the ladder also just slightly going underneath the bed the width available would be approximately 65/66 cm.

Having checked I can see this can only have the hollow side on the right. Due to the panels having predrilled holes you are unable to build it any other way than shown in the images.
