Child loves it and that’s what matters!
I bought this bed approx a month ago but have just set it up. It took two of us all day to build. The Instructions were really clear to start with and then got worse throughout the booklet. There's only a tiny mention about the ladder supports (for strength.) I am concerned about the single side panel (away from the ladder) being too weak to withstand movement so will add a strengthening batten to that side. The bed moves (rocks) quite a lot when my child is moving on it. I would be concerned if you were to place a TV on the shelf and would instead, advise that it is placed on a wall. We are not using it for that purpose and have added additional cube storage to the shelf. Having said all this, my child absolutely loves it and couldn’t wait to try it out.

The boys bedroom upgrade
A good design providing space below and therefore the whole room feels more spacious. Easily assembled and fairly quick. Only downside for me is that unless you fix to the wall it can be a bit shaky.... No knees to the chest or press ups in bed ;-)

Very sturdy and great space saver
My son has a very small bedroom. He is very much into his gaming, but we struggled to give him an area that was spacious and comfortable. This bed is perfect. I am not a fan of bunk beds, but thankfully this one isn't too high and has decent steps. It is very sturdy and has a great space underneath for everything he wanted. Only 2 downsides is hitting your head underneath and it being quite an effort to change the bed, but these are nothing in comparison to my sons happiness at his grown up room. The bed frame does wobble when he is getting up and down from the bed, but no more than I would have expected it to and it doesn't affect the shelving area underneath. I have wedged it between a wall and wardrobe just to be on safe side. Instructuons were clear and simple and everything was labelled. Took me and my husband about 3.5 hours to put together and was probably the first thing we have built without making mistakes or getting frustrated. Very heavy once together, so make sure you build close to where you want it put. Overall, a great purchase.

Good could be more stable and easier to build
Instructions was simple but could be more detail as put some items backwards first time. Bed is good but could be more stable. The screwed metal into the wood could pop out easy.

perfect for a new gamer
This bed was easy to assemble with clear instructions and all parts clearly labeled. It has plenty of shelving for gaming consoles, games, and accessories. You can easily fit 2 gaming chairs in the area under the bed and free's up lots of floor space. I would highly recommend this product.

Great bed
My 6yr old son was over the moon with his new bed. My only problem is that the steps are to narrow to climb up and down and could do with some handles or grip holes as sides can become slippery when trying to grip and also not very safe to climb while wearing socks.

Having checked I can see this can only have the hollow side on the right. Due to the panels having predrilled holes you are unable to build it any other way than shown in the images.

I have spoken to our supplier regarding your Habitat Gaming High Sleeper and Kids Mattress question who have advised as follows:
Depth front to back (up to the shelf) is 66.8cm.
The gap at the right side of the media shelf is 21.5cm wide.
