Getting up at 3am to let the cat back in ruins your sleep pattern, so this PetSafe Staywell Classic 4 Way Locking Cat Flap gives you control over when your pet moves in and out. The 4 locking options - fully locked, fully open, in only or out only - mean you decide access times without leaving your bed. Suitable for medium sized cats and dogs up to 7kgs, the plastic door fits into wood, PVC and glass doors or windows with a fixed 60mm tunnel for extra-wide installations.
The manual lock lets you set boundaries that suit your routine - lock them in overnight or let them roam freely during the day. The 16.2cm opening fits cats and dogs with stockier builds comfortably. Installation works across multiple door types including windows, which helps if your main door is not suitable. The plastic surface wipes clean to tackle muddy paw prints after wet weather.

Easy to fit replacement cat flap.
This was to replace an existing staywell cat flap which we've had for 15 years and which evetually broke. Fitting the new one was easy as the hole centres are the same as on the original one and the new has a tunnel which is a good feature.

Clear instruction ( on line ) easy fit and set up. We are happy although cats not. We are still training them to use cat door but unfortunately the ‘ snap ‘ sound made by the lock when device detects the cats chip scares the little mites 🥴 We have reverted to the manual mode for the time being

Good Starter Cat Flap
I had one of these for my cat in Glasgow. Works a treat. Looks like it has a magnet to stop it flapping in the wind / prevent draughts. The can can see out, so easy to train. Down side... The cat now brings in presents. I now use the Exit only option.

Yes, the flap comes off. You unscrew the outer cover which then allows you to get to the flap to remove it.

The PetSafe Staywell Classic 4 Way Locking Cat Flap - White is purely manual operation and has four locking options to choose from. Your cats microchip is not utilised.
There is a magnetic version wfich uses collar keys (two supplied) and this can be found at the link below:

Yes it will work in the plywood door, I believe its roughly 5mm + deep.
