Great Bookcase
A good size, the natural colour is more of a Griege colour but it works in my decor. Good priceas 20% off when bought. Instructions easy to follow, easy to put together, needs 2 people.

Does the job.
Looks nice and has quite a bit of storage for books etc. The finish could be improved though and the instructions were unclear at times, would have been helpful being labelled A B C etc. We had a piece of paper between it all marked L H but we had no idea what that was referring to presumably meant left hand). Overall it was a bit pricey and the quality didn't represent this.

Once built, nice item,but just like the first one I bought the edging around bottom didn't fit on anywhere but it gives you a choice at least as it looks ok without it if want to leave it off.

Grey bookcase
Bought for corner living room to fill bland empty space. Went together easy, instruction OK took about 1hr on my own. I found the oak too pale so used dark wax to make it look more rustic. Very pleased for the price. My only gripe was the front edge in grey had been previously damaged then repaired so it had a blister in the laminate, hence 4 stars not as that should not have been passed by quality control.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Winchester Bookcase and Display Cabinet - White: The very top panel is 28cm deep by 73cm wide.
The top directly over the drawers is 33cm deep by 73cm wide.

This is subjective as it will very much depend on the weight of books stored on the shelving. Each shelf can hold a maximum of 13Kg with an overall limit of 35Kg.
