Fine. Does the job
This was a replacement for other unmanaged switch so I was not anticipating problems. ( The previous one had a PSU that expired in the heat but I did not have a replacement PSU in the junk box and eBay was too slow. This replacement switch has unexpected features for the price - but remember it is an unmanaged device which is normally perfectly fine for office and home use. Consumption not checked but seems to have intelligent power management (usual plug in PSU) Connectivity ports accept the usual RJ45s. Throughput is up to gigabit speeds (with the appropriate RJ45s and cat6-rated cable but I will be much slower than that!

A very satisfactory purchase!
I bought this last week to replace an older and significantly slower switch I installed some time ago. It was extremely easy to make the swap - just disconnect the old one and put in the new. It is smaller, lighter, does more - 10x as fast and has more ports - is more efficient, and was bought at a great price.

Hello Abi.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for TP-Link TL-SG105 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch.
This connection is possible. You can simply use one Ethernet cable to connect any port on the first TL-SG105 switch to any port on the second TL-SG105 switch. Make sure both switches are powered on and properly connected. Because this is a plug-and-play switch, no special settings are required for basic operation.

Hello Clive,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link TL-SG105 5 Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch: ''The TL-SG105 is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch that is designed to work with standard routers and gateways. Since it is a plug-and-play device, no additional configuration is required during setup.
Please note that the TL-SG105 only provides wired Ethernet connectivity. Devices connected to the switch must use an Ethernet cable connection, as the switch does not provide wireless/Wi-Fi functionality.
