Plastic, not metal
There is absolutely nowhere that tells you that this shelving unit is plastic, not metal. The poles are made of plastic and the 'wood effect' is NOT dark wood, but grey?? Cannot express my disappointment :(

Stylish and simple bookcase.
I needed a unit to put photos on and look nice for my small living room. It was easy to put together myself and it seems quite stable. The shelves have plenty of space in between each one so it looks open and stylish. The finish is easy to keep clean using a duster.

Bought this for my new flat where storage space is at a premium. Very useful, looks good, and easy to assemble. One of the dividers did snap when I was screwing it in though, so be firm but careful.

Our supplier has advised that the Argos Home Verona Bookcase - Dark Wood Effect shelf dimensions are 29.5cm depth, 60cm width and there is a 34cm gap between each shelf. This should be suitable for games consoles.

For safety and stability, it is still recommended that you fix the item to a wall. It does come with a wall strap to allow you to do so.
