I bought this a month ago for my weekly yoga classes, it has good grip to the floor and wipes easily, it’s not the thickest but does the job would buy again

Suitable but ...
I got this mat to exercise in my student accommodation room a couple of weeks ago. Overall the length and the breadth of it is just fine for me (I'm about 5'6-7 🤭). The only problem for me is the width, so when I lie on my back or in a semi supine position with my tail bone touching the mat on the ground I can feel the hard ground which honestly kind of hurts, but if this isn't something you're too bothered about then for sure go ahead and get this since it also is quite affordable especially for a student (but honestly I suggest investing just a tiny bit more to get a thicker one). It's also quite portable since it's not very thick so it rolls up easily. in regards to the texture its like a track used to race like for sprinting and marathons but softer, so not to bothered by that. But yeah, it's exactly as described on the website.

Good yoga mat for students
I bought this about a month ago to exercise in my student accommodation, its a good size for a uni room and 4 mm is thick enough for a carpeted tile or hardwood floor. Its small enough rolled up for storage and the texture doesnt bother me. Solid yoga mat for a beginner in yoga or someone doing free exercise at home. Doesn't deform easily.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Opti Basic 4mm Thickness Yoga Exercise Mat: We do suggest to keep the mat away from direct sunlight to avoid aging of the mat, for sure the mat will get hot if place in the sun too long.
